Human

A series about the invisible challenges associated with spinal cord injury.

Sexuality, dependence on caregivers, pain, and resilience... during walks, couples who are friends, one of whom is in a wheelchair, open up about central themes that are often taboo.

Gaining a better understanding of the realities faced by people with disabilities is essential to providing them with an appropriate place in society.

Bastien and Romain are connected through sports. Ever since they met, they have been getting together to do physical activities. During an afternoon of swimming in a lake, the two friends talk about romantic relationships and sexuality.

The series aims to:

  1. Inform and raise awareness among the general public about the little-known difficulties encountered by people with spinal cord injuries

  2. Share knowledge on various topics related to spinal cord injuries

  3. Open up dialogue on a topic that is still confined to the private sphere and specialists

  4. Raise awareness of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation in French-speaking Switzerland
