The great intox

Environment

An investigative documentary film that separates fact from fiction about electric cars and sustainable mobility.

The great intox (À Contresens) reveals the two-year investigation conducted by environmentalist Marc Muller and journalist Jonas Schneiter, comparing gasoline-powered cars with electric cars to debunk certain fake news stories and preconceived notions.

What materials are used and under what conditions are they extracted? What is the respective environmental impact of these two types of cars? Not to mention that of batteries. Ultimately, the main question remains: is the choice of electric mobility a coherent one?

In the documentary The great intox, environmentalist Marc Muller and journalist Jonas Schneiter spent two years investigating and comparing gasoline-powered cars with electric cars in order to debunk certain fake news stories and preconceived notions.

What materials are used and under what conditions are they extracted? What about rare earth elements? What is the respective environmental impact of these two types of cars? Not to mention that of batteries! Ultimately, the main question remains: is the choice of electric mobility a coherent one?

To answer these questions, Marc and Jonas went to the heart of the matter. They explain and scientifically document their journey throughout the film.
