A series of filmed podcasts to rethink our relationship with alcohol.

Young people, who have all experienced a period of abstinence, meet over mocktails to discuss the place of alcohol in our society and show that you can still flirt, party, and be cool without drinking.

These stories help establish a new social norm: that of a chosen, accepted, and unapologetic relationship with alcohol.

Karen, Antoine, Loïck, and Fabian all stopped drinking after years of partying. For some, the decision was sudden, happening overnight. For others, it was a long journey marked by soul-searching. They open up over mocktails and talk about what made them distance themselves from alcohol and the new life that now lies ahead of them.

No pressure aims to:

  1. Increase knowledge about issues related to alcohol consumption

  2. Break down prejudices and reduce social pressure

  3. Encourage young people to take responsibility for their choices

  4. Raise awareness of the benefits of a lifestyle without alcohol.

“Drinking is cool.” Or “to be cool, you have to drink.” It’s a cliché that refuses to die. A commonplace idea fueled by TV shows, music, the media—in short, culture in general. But is it really impossible to be cool and have fun without drinking? Luca, Marie Jane, and Pardis have all stopped drinking for a while and are discussing this notion over a mocktail. They are proof that there are many ways to be cool.

  1. Increase knowledge about issues related to alcohol consumption

  2. Break down prejudices and reduce social pressure

  3. Encourage young people to take responsibility for their choices

  4. Raise awareness of the benefits of a lifestyle without alcohol.

As a general rule, the script for a date begins in a nice bar, over a drink. If it goes well (and even if it doesn't go so well, for that matter), the scenario continues over a second drink, then a third, and a fourth... But why do we have to be tipsy to successfully flirt? Is it so difficult to trust ourselves without a drop of alcohol in our blood? Floria, Meriem, Diana, and Attilio have all stopped drinking for a while, so they've already flirted sober and are discussing it over mocktails.

  1. Increase knowledge about issues related to alcohol consumption

  2. Break down prejudices and reduce social pressure

  3. Encourage young people to take responsibility for their choices

  4. Raise awareness of the benefits of a lifestyle without alcohol.

Drinking games to prove one's masculinity. A beer offered at a family meal by an uncle: “You're a man now, drink up!” Being able to hold one's liquor is still associated with masculinity today. As for women, in the collective imagination, they tend to prefer sweet alcoholic drinks and consume in moderation. But where do these clichés come from? Are we really all equal when it comes to alcohol? Maryline, Diana, and (two) Leonardos have in common that they all stopped drinking for a period of time. They discuss these stereotypes over a mocktail.

  1. Increase knowledge about issues related to alcohol consumption

  2. Break down prejudices and reduce social pressure

  3. Encourage young people to take responsibility for their choices

Is it possible to party without drinking? Does abstinence necessarily mean a dull and orderly life? We know that alcohol is very (too?) often associated with a rich and exciting social life, a trendy and festive lifestyle. But Pamela, Alexandre, Karen, and Angelo have tested it out: partying without alcohol is possible. They've even developed a taste for it. And we promise, they don't spend their evenings alone on the couch. Listen to them discuss it over a mocktail.

No pressure aims to:

  1. Increase knowledge about issues related to alcohol consumption

  2. Break down prejudices and reduce social pressure

  3. Encourage young people to take responsibility for their choices

  4. Raise awareness of the benefits of a lifestyle without alcohol.
